Hänen mielenkiintonsa kohdistuu Helsingin kauniisiin vanhoihin kaupunginosiin, niiden puistoihin, aukioihin, toreihin ja merenrantaan.Pääaiheena Zlenkon maalauksissa on kuitenkin valo ja muoto, valöörit ja väri. Samalla jokainen maalaus on tarina ihmisistä ja kaupungista eri vuorokauden- ja vuodenaikojen luomassa tunnelmassa.

At the sametime each painting is a story about people and the city at different timesof the day or seasons of the year.
