Nude

Nude, like ballet, was very popular with the 20 century artists. Nude has always incarnated a universal ideal of feminine beauty and attraction that changed dramatically from epoch to epoch and dates back to the ancient myth of Pygmalion and Galatea. While staying perfectly realistic, Zlenko’s nude works have their own interpretation of this ideal. For the painter, depicting the nude body is a revelation, a metaphor of pure harmony and also an intriguing process of artistic creation.
